Sanjeev discovered himself in the world of food purely by chance after completing his schooling when all his friends enrolled in Food Craft Institute in Chandigarh, India in the year 2003 and he followed the pursuit unknowingly. Little did he know, he would fall in love with cooking that brought him overseas in 2008 to explore opportunities which also led him to cook for celebrities (Hollywood & Bollywood) throughout working in hotels and restaurants in India & Canada.
When Sanjeev arrived in Canada, he started his career from Banff and became part of the opening of the first East Indian restaurant which was the beginning of his humble yet adventurous journey in the world of developing his own recipes and ideas of homemade authentic East Indian food that can be served right from the kitchen to guest tables. He brought flavors of uniqueness and authenticity in curries to every place he had worked.
Keeping his ideas and imagination open, he had been part of helping in soft and grand openings of restaurants and hotels.
Besides cooking, Sanjeev is passionate about sports. He is an avid cricket player. He has represented India in International Baseball held in Beijing, China in the year 2002. During summers in his free time, he enjoys playing Slo-Pitch.
Dippu was born in Uttar Pradesh, India. He started his career in Gurgaon (now Gurugram), India at a 5-Star restaurant. Throughout his career, he learned and built his expertise in working at Tandoor (Clay Oven) on his perseverance and experience.
His passion for globetrotting and cooking for various cuisines at hotels like Sheraton, and City Max in Abu Dhabi, and Dubai provided him exposure to International Cuisine. In 2011, he came to explore Canada and fell in love and decided to settle here. He is a professional Chef with a passion for preparing authentic Tandoori and traditional meals.
Besides cooking, Dippu loves listening to music, watching movies, and spending time with his little daughter. In his free time, he enjoys going on long drives with his family.
